I just found out Robert Asprin died over the weekend
He was a great world builder, anyone who has read the "Thieves World" stories knows what I am saying since he created the world but didnt write much of it, he was editor and left that to other writers, and it was a very rich world to tell a story in. If you get a chance read it.
Also the "Myth-Inc" stories (Myth-inc adventures, Myth Inc in action etc.)were very entertaining. They are not "serious" fantasy novels in fact quite tongue in cheek, similar to the Xanth series by Piers Anthony, and Discworld by Terri Pratchet. Example: the main character in the story mistakenly summons a demon from the dimension of "Perv", the demon in question asserts that people from his dimension are known as "Pervects" whereas everyone else insists on calling them "Perverts".
Anyway Robert, you will be missed.
