What was the name of the island that Tawl and Jack destroy? With all the people chained to rocks? Could those people have been Reaches (from the Sword of Shadows series)?

It's Larn, I believe. That's a good thought about them being reaches. They definitely possessed supernatural powers that others wanted to exploit....

What was the name of the order of knights in Book of Words? Was it the same as one the orders of knights in Sword of Shadows?

Oh I see. Sorry I was getting confused.. I read a lot of fantasy..So it was the Forsworn Knights that Iss put down when he first came to power? And its also the Forsworn Knights that Raif found massacred in that remote outpost, right?

I know, I could go look this up, but where's the fun in that?

Ya, the Forsworn knights are the ones that seem to operate in the north while the Knights of Valdis are to the south of the ranges. Of course, there is bound to be some cross over, but I wont even begin to speculate about that.
