Yep, amazon.com is now listing the book along with a whole host of other new titles from Tor for the spring. April 13th is the release date.

What is strange thoughm and possibly simply incorrect, is the page count, which is listed as 432 pages. Which would be remarkably short for a Sword of Shadows novel. Maybe Julie herself could shed some light on this?

Following the Twitter she does seem to have finished the book ( not counting editorial revisions etc).

I was checking on Amazon and Waterstones, and I found that there is a book to be released on the 5th of November. I was confused mostly because it is called Sword of Shadows and says the name hasn't been released yet. I just wanted to know if it was real or not?

You should not give a shit about announcements on Amazon. They have proven to publish bullshit more than once. If the book is finished, Julie will let us know. Regarding her absence both from here and her blog, I'd say she is in a working frenzy right now or taking a time out.

You're wrong actually. Julie has confirmed the book is done and will be released in April. She has also confirmed the book is shorter than usual.

It just hasn't been posted yet on the journal, it has been posted on Twitter.

However, the April publish date is for the US publisher (TOR). She hasn't posted the date for the UK or other countries yet. Hopefully those will be announced soon.

Well I've pre ordered from Amazon uk for the Nov 5th release. Don't disappoint me Amazon!!

I don't expect that the book will come out in November in the UK. The April date for the US is firm, the UK date is outdated as far as I know. I expect Orbit will move it up as we come close to November.
