Since I think Diablo 1 these guys have been my favourite devs. They love to make games. Good games. And they definitely are in control. They don't release until they're happy.

Sure, it may not have always been that way. Sure, Diablo:Hellfire we'll forget, along with the Clans adventure game and Starcraft: Ghost.

Diablo 3 got announced on the weekend. And all the fanfolk rejoiced! Go here for awesomeness.

Do you like the Blizzard games?

How do you think they do it? (Produce quality after quality product)

What kind of game would you make if you had the chance to use Blizzard for a year?

Starcraft was one of the best games ever. Such a cool story line. Ages ago in some other thread I mentioned I cheated all the way though the 2nd one just to find out what happened to Karrigen.

ok, I posted 2 more times in the introduction thread, before seeing your note to continue here. (have you met my alter-ego "cap'n derrrr" ?) haa haa haa

I like blizzard games as well.
I have played many games and finished just a few of them.
I came close to finishing warcraft3, and said I'd go back and do it someday, but that hasn't happened yet.

If I could make a game with team-blizz?
I really like the genre of fiction-fantasy (as we all do!).
I'd probably want to make a totally immersed game based on Robert Jordan's wheel of time, or JVJ's Sword series. Just imagine doing quests as Raif and Angus Lok, going to save Ash then she joins the group for the next x-number of quests in that quest chain. With all sorts of random-baddies out there to mess up your progress.

How about a giant cat like creature named Biggie, who thinks that all humans are crunchies!!!!! haa haa haa

ok, that last comment was just for the humorous aspect, it wouldn't add value to an actual game, unless maybe you creatively massaged that idea a bit. heh

I more thought of Biggie like the dog in Fallout. Amazing attack rates, companion on your journey Smile

But "Epic Boss Biggie" has a cool ring to it. Ha ha.

Julie .. care to weigh in?

Epic Boss Biggie, I like it.

Biggie's fast clawing attacks (smack-smack) could surely hamper the casting time for the likes of Sarga Veys. To take him down you'd surely have to have your old-blood skills (ala Raif) leveled up, so you could heart kill him with a sword.

No worries there Julie, we're just brainstorming on a new game idea.
Looks like the real Biggie is busy playing smack-smack with a lil critter (until you 86'ed it), and possibly considering ordering a pizza (?)

<biggie on the phone with Dominoes>.........
"meow......forget the crazy bread.....meow.....do you have.....meow....crunchies instead......meow?
*purrr*wink*purr*

heh heh

My own cat, Freeway, is staying at my side every second I'm home, since I left her here on her own while I was in Yosemite from Wednesday until Sunday. After waking me up for the third time last night to pet her, I put her in the living room and closed my bedroom door!

since I dont pet her while asleep, Freeway likes to mash her face against my hand, silly cat!

Some of the most fun I've had with Warcraft, not 'world of',
was lan battles with my friends. I would love to see a Warcraft1 Classic version, with improved graphics. I sometimes think about firing up warcraft1 just for old-times-sake. If Warcraft hadn't come along, I wonder if I'd be as interested in the genre of SF stories as I am.

hmmmmmm.......has anyone else thought that JV Jones looks suspiciously similar to Jaina Proudmoore???

lol
