Hi all,
I'm yet another Brit who's escaped to France & it was moving here with my wife in 2006 that led to my becoming an avid fan of JV.
Due to a lack reading material in my possession at the time, I asked my eldest son to lend me some of his extensive library of Fantasy novels and he picked the first two novels of the "Sword of Shadows" series. Thanks Kevin. "The rest is history" as they say as I've now read everything from the JV collection that I can get my hands on and am an enthusiastic fan eagerly awaiting the continuation of Raif's adventure.

Welcome to the forum Andy!
My first two JV books were Cavern and Fortress also. I then read Barbed Coil, Sword and books 1 and 2 in the Book of Words trilogy. In fact, I just finished book2, Master and Fool, a little while ago. Check out JV's Journal, if you haven't already.
