I got home lastnight from 4 days in Yosemite and brought my Sword book and camera. Now I have to decide which images to send to juliejv@yahoo.com for the Big Contest. Some of my pics are 2-4 Megs, so I might have to chop the resolution a bit (heh).

I actually thought this would be easy. Like our wonderful JVJ, I always have camera in one hand, but struth, I can't come up with anything original.

Heh, now that I've said that, I took a few dozen pics of the book in Yosemite, and I'm in only 2 or 3 of them, of which I like none. I've got about 2 dozen pics singled out so far and I think about a dozen of them are decent enough to send in. I'll go them tonight and will get them sent in. Then, perhaps, i'll put the whole lot of them on flickr. I'll post the link once thats done.

I'm not sure if I can compete with the 'coolness factor' of the bobcat, but I'm going to try! sadly, the pics I missed this weekend were, 1) a coyote eating roadkill just outside of Curry Village (in Yosemite valley). A bicyclist scared him away before I could get my camera out. and 2) a brown bear and 2 cubs crossing the street (just 1/3 mile from the coyote!)
