I hope everyone here in California is very careful during the christmas holidays. And to everyone not living here, please pray for rain for us, lots and lots of it. I know the last big fire was very close to JV and my mother in law who also lives in Carlsbad, my mother in law evacuated voluntarily.
THe santiago fire came very close to my home, it got as close as 3 miles away and the relief shelter at El Toro High school is about 2 blocks from my home.
The best holiday gift would be a week or two long rain storm. _________________ sumigo is just an online handle, my real name is Brandon.

I hope you will be all right, and if I could I would send some of the weather here your way.

I live in Anaheim, so the Irvine fire wasn't too far away.
I won't be in town for Christmas, though, I am flying back to Omaha, NE to visit with all my friends and family. I've lived here for a year, and I already want to live back home again.

It is raining this morning, looks like someone listened, I just hope it rains more than just a few hours. Otherwise all it will do it make the vegitation grow and dry so fires are more likely.
We need like a week straight. _________________ sumigo is just an online handle, my real name is Brandon.

I miss midwest rainstorms, but today's will have to suffice. At least it'll help ward any potential fires.

I'm sure you have answered this before but Ms Jones were you affected personally by the fire? I'm sure emotionally it was horrible I saw some of the images. I sent money for the effort.
