LOL! Oh dear - The last time I was in Borders, I told one of the staff that I might as well be shopping Ethiopia for the limited range they stock. Obviously Borders in the States must be better. It really annoys me when you can buy book 1 and 3, but not book 2, or book 1 & 2 but not book 3 because the author changed publisher, or they simply don't stock that publisher anymore - as is the case with Kristen Britain's new book. Grrrr.

In Aus, I think QA Books has to be my favourite. They have a larger than most fantasy section and at least pretend that they care.

But my favourite of all was Estoral Books in South Africa. There was nothing fancy about them, except if you wanted to buy books 1 2 3 4 5 and 6 in a series you could, no worries. Now that is a good bookshop.

Interesting... I used to be a pretty hardcore Barnes and Nobles type of guy, but i always had problems with them having say books 1 and 4 of a series, but not 2 and 3, for example.

Eventually i just started shopping at Borders. I also like border's layout better, seems to be a bit more logical.

I will definitely agree that as an overall bookstore, barnes & nobles has a much better selection, i just find that when it comes to fantasy/sci-fi, barnes has them hands down.

Did they research it?
It could have been an employee who bought something for themself with your card info, or something like that.
