Does Jack wind up with anybody at that end of the triolgy?

Just finished 1st book was wondering cause the prophesy.

has no father nor lover
but is promised to another

do we find out who he is promised too?

please don't be specfic and say who just yes or no.

And also does Megan come back into the story at anytime?

I don't remember who Jack is promised to. I suspect you will not find out who he is promised to; at least I think it will be argueable who he is promised to. Perhaps we will find out in the Sword of Shadows trilogy. As for Megan, I don't remember her.

i believe megan is the girl who helped Tawl when he was in Rorn.

Ahah! You are reading the wrong version of the prophesy. The one that you are quoting from is the incorrect translation that Tavalisk reads, and interprets as himself being the one to stay the hand of the plague.

You have to go back to the beginning of the book and the original prophesy, which states that "a man will come without father or mother, but sister as lover, and stay the hand of the plague" - i think.

It's been about 12 years since I first read the first book, but I've reread it countless times, and I'm not going to give away the answers!
